The MIC will focus on creating economic corridors connecting urban centers to industrial zones and ports. These will include:

  • Mumbai-Thane-Navi Mumbai Industrial Corridor: A dedicated industrial road corridor connecting SEZs in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT).
  • Pune-Nashik Economic Corridor: A high-speed corridor connecting the two key industrial cities, enhancing export capabilities.
